Serious lag after latest update

I’m experiencing serious lags playing the game today after installing the latest update. First I thought it was a driver issue but after trying re installing it and also trying Nvidia gaming/ studio drivers it did not fix the lagging.
I have 2x RTX GPU’s in my machine: 3090 and 4090. I played this game on the highest graphics settings without any issues or lag since it came out. The game is currently unplayable.

Edit: Now I know the problem. I have 2 GPU’s RTX4090 and RTX3090. As soon as I launch the game the RTX 3090 shoots up from 1% to 100% usage. I have no idea why this weird thing is happening. Any suggestions?
PS: I keep all drivers up to date all the time.

any update?i have 4070ti ,i7 14 700kf ,game stuttering alot

Most lag issues usually occur due to certain updates, especially between seasons, and sometimes require quick patches. In this case, it was with Patch 12.2.3327 from February 2025.

On the other hand, the person who wrote this post added an “Edit” to say that it fixed the problem, so there’s nothing left to discuss.

If you’re having lag issues, start a new thread. Please don’t revive threads about problems with older patches; it creates confusion.

I’ve noticed that the “Black Sand” biome makes the game much heavier.

From what I’ve tested, when I play on large maps with many enemies, the “Black Sand” biome starts to cause minor bottlenecks.

However, when I play the same map, under the same conditions, but with a different biome, the game runs smoothly.
