It’s only one game though. Two high level player fighting, one of them had to win. Can you really conclude that the only reason Aussie won was because his civ was OP?
Had Kaiser won, would you have created a thread named Sweden overnerfed, plz give them boosts ?
Finally, we all know they will NEVER remove the civ. So it would be a better use of your time to propose changes to the civ.
I think the first problem is why even med/noob level was/is completely mess due to Sweden, those people were still protecting OP Sweden age…if you have read my post, and not only my post that complaint about Sweden OP eco, many points and reason are listed already, so in here after dev heavily buffed Sweden again due to the guys cried Sweden must have blueberry, I understood this is useless to talk about detail anymore because they just subjective complaint then everything will return to original or even worse. and I also realize it is useless to list points or reason even this is reasonable.
On the other hand, dev did this balance go and back will only cause the argument keeps on going, because they can never satisfy both Sweden players and Non-Sweden players, that why my title is using just removing Sweden as beginning, sure I know this is impossible to remove a city just only because my post.
My purpose of this topic is only to show them even their selfish idea (their excuse I mentioned they push “pro don’t think is a problem/pro can easily solve and know how to solve Sweden” is also only a joke and ignoring most of players gameplay). This is just using their criteria to beat them.
In these guys eyes, even top 1 player doesn’t know how to play against Sweden and only they know. So what do you think is possible to convince them?
However what bad is Dev listen to them. buff their weakness, cancel the OP nerf.
Torps seem really hard to balance, they are either too good or too bad it seems.
Just a thought: how about disabling the gold mine gathering from standard torps? And having the ironworks card enable it? Just a random idea that might slow the Swedish eco down a bit.
This is also an idea I thought about, however the main bonus for gathering houses in AOE3DE are unraidable, strong HP, boom with training vils at the same time, cost very little.
Why Sweden is the top eco is becoz of torp has the best efficiency.
yep sweden doesnt lose time moving villagers, and carolean make their vills unraidable (you can kill vills but at the cost of all your cav). So in team matches sweden always excell, specially in big maps with many trees and mines
Its not cost-benefit to raid a sweden, and to destroy houses coulb be extremely difficult.
Caroleans are very cost-benefit useful, as they can earn around 20 exp from killing a cav that cost 200 sourcesin 1 shot.
