WHAT: Server Maintenance (Multiplayer Servers)
WHEN: 2020-11-24T22:00:00Z
EST. DOWNTIME: 1-2 HOURS

GAMES & PLATFORMS:

OBJECTIVES:

  • Routine server maintenance; no player-facing changes.

DETAILS:

This coming Tuesday, November 24th, the platform team will be taking the multiplayer servers down for maintenance. This will unfortunately disrupt any matches in progress and prevent the creation of new matches during the downtime, so we recommend wrapping up any games at least 10 minutes before the maintenance window.

:warning: During this time, you will still be able to launch the game, but will not be able to access any online features.

The downtime is expected to last anywhere from 1 and 2 hours. We will update this thread with any changes to the schedule as they arise, as well as the all-clear when the maintenance is complete.

Keep the time and date in mind, and thank you for your patience!

Following today’s maintenance window (in ~2 hours), Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition will be getting a hotfix for the late-game lag issues and other crashes introduced with the Anniversary Update! Watch for a download and update notes soon™!
