Setting Hotkeys while building buildings

Ok so lay foundation for a building and start hammering. While its building set it to a hotkey. Once the building is done, hotkey breaks most of the time. Would be nice to be able to set up hotkeys before completion and get consistent function.

Yes, unfinished building should remain in hotkey group after being finished

Issue:

When you add a building that is under construction to a control group, it is getting removed from the control group when it finish building.

Reproduction Steps:

Create a control group with your first forum.
start creating a second and a third forum
Add them to the control group of the first forum
They are added.
Wait that they finished construction, they are removed.

Issue:

Town center loses the control group if added to the group while it is getting built.

Reproduction Steps:

Here’s how to reproduce the problem:

  1. Task villagers to build a Town Center
  2. Add the TC to a control group before it finishes building
  3. See the TC loses the control group after getting built.

Or

  1. Add your first TC to a control group
  2. Build another TC. Add that TC to the same control group while it is getting built.
  3. See that the second TC is not in the control group after getting built.

Yes! I always forget to make a post about this after the game! This would be huge! It takes up a lot of precious time to go back and re-hotkey buildings after they are built

Issue:

When you are building a town center and you add its foundation to your existing town centers control’s group, it disappears from your control group once the town center is completed. You need to re-add it. This does not happen with military buildings, which makes me think it is a bug

Reproduction Steps:

Here’s how to reproduce the problem:

  1. Add your starting town center to control group 1 (ctrl + 1)
  2. Start building a second town center
  3. Append that second town center (under construction) to your control group 1 (shift + 1)
  4. At the bottom of the screen, you should see 2 town centers in your control group number 1
  5. Wait until your second town center is finished building
  6. Select your control group number 1 (1) and see how it only selected one town center.
