Settlements do not have set gather point UI element or hotkeys

:backhand_index_pointing_down: Settlements do not have a UI element to set gather point and the set gather point hotkey does not work with them.
This is a big deal for me. You can still set gather point by right clicking. But I never set gather points this way in order to avoid mistakes with moving units around. So it completely breaks my usual flow. Gather points work for every single other building in the game they should work for settlements too.

:play_button: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Build a settlement

  2. press the “set gather point hotkey”

:play_button: EXPECTED RESULT

:backhand_index_pointing_down: the mouse should change to the flag and I should be able to click somewhere to set the gather point

I tried 4 times to upload the image but it just keeps saying error uploading image. So I guess that’s a different bug to figure out.

I had the same problem with uploading image, but currently it works every time.

What I did the first time (after 3 to 5 unsuccessful tries) is wait for upload counter to go to 100%, not click anywhere during upload.

I guess your connection also matters, I have 60 Mbps upload speed. But I think problem is on their side, too much traffic, so only solution if it doesn’t work is to wait for traffic to settle down, maybe try in late evening hours, or better yet early in the morning as people who play AOE2 mostly play it late evening hours.

I do agree it should not happen regardless on internet traffic, it should just upload slower, not abandon the whole process.

It’s intended that a hotkey which works for every production building in the game is not going to work for this production building? Can you elaborate at all? What is the intention?
