Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. CLICK SCOUT
  2. HOLD SHIFT AND LEFT CLICK A PATH
  3. RIGHT CLICK SOMEWHERE
  4. SCOUT WILL DIRECTLY MOVE TO RICHT CLICKED PLACE AND NOT FOLLOW THE PREDEFINED PATH

WHEN I REPEAT THE PROCESS SEVERAL TIMES IT WORKS AT SOME POINT IN TIME. SAME WITH VILS AND SHEEPS.

Hi @grass

In normal conditions (unless you have the mouse buttons inverted), what you are describing is the normal behavior of the game. Holding Shift + RIGHT click, will queue the rallypoints for the scout/villager. If you use the right click without holding the shift, that will automatically delete the rally points. If you want to select another unit or unselect the one, use the LEFT click instead. In that way, the rally points will remain and the unit will be unselected

Thanks for your answer. I realized described wrongly: I hold shift and right click the path then unleash shift and do one more right click to start the sequence. After the upgrade it works most of the time. However, it still does not ALWAYS work. Sometimes scout, sheep, and vils simply ingnore the shift cued tasks…problem remains

I just played a game and the issue is still there. It is the most annoying thing ever. Shift right click to make an exploration path for the scout and last click without shift to start the sequence: Scout moves directly to last clicked tile. I repeat the same thing a couple times: the 2nd / 3rd or 4th time scout reacts properly. I am lost. The problem occured maybe 3 days ago. I cannot play the game anymore.

I don´t understand the issue, because what you are describing is the correct behavior of the game.

Example:
Let´s say I decide to make a scouting path, I use Shift + right-click to set all the points I want to visit with the scout.
From here I have two options:
1- I use the left-click to unselect the unit, in that case, the scout should go to the path I set for it. I don´t need to do anything for the scout to start the path I set already.
2- After selecting the path (scout still selected), I right-click in a new point without holding the shift. In this case, the scout deletes the path I set and goes to the last point I selected.

In the second case, right-click deletes the path because it is used to cancel any pending action and move to a new location. This is especially important to react to the game (avoid attacks, defend, or even attack enemy units).

Not sure if the issue is different from the cases above, if it is, please try to send us a video to understand better your issue.

I think i solved it: I needed to click “new waypoint behaviour” under options - game. Now it works as you described it. Did not before however. Thanks for help anyway! Regards, grass
