Shift key to have villagers perform actions in sequence hassle

When you press the Shift key to have villagers perform actions in sequence, if you have them build a long section of wooden fence and then perform other actions, the villagers will only build a small portion of that section. They won’t finish building the entire section before moving on to other tasks. If you want them to complete the entire section of wooden fence, you can’t press the Shift key to have them perform subsequent actions. This means you have to come back later to check on the idle villagers, which is quite a hassle. I hope the game can make some improvements in this regard.

That has been an issue in this saga since forever, It only queues the first segment, you have to shift-right click every segment for It to work like you want.

It is sadly pretty unlikely that they Will change It now

It should change pretty soon to be honest, Devs are quick with bug fixes. But the post need more upvotes and publicity. It is indeed annoying.

But for now what you can do is to now shift click. just order them to build the wall and don’t click anything after they are done they will show up in idle villager banner then you can retask them. It ain’t much but it’s an honest fix.
