ISSUE EXPERIENCED
Shift queue move command after melee units attack an enemy unit is unconsistent :
- Melee units sometimes attack a nearbuy building/unit after killing enemy unit instead of following the shift queued move command
- On an open field, units sometimes stop or move in another direction after killing enemy unit and then do the shift queued move command. It occured that the units dont do the shift queued move command at all after killing the enemy unit.
Those issues make shift queue micro with scouts/man at arms and kts/lancers early castle age really inconsistent and will expose you to extra spear hit or quickwall, etc…
I didnt see any similar issue with range units. I didnt do prolonged testing with rams (cause i think it’s not as critical), but with a few trials, I didnt see any similar issue.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
- 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS) : there are some unconsistencies everytime I use melee units on stand ground to kill a unit and shift queue move them away.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
Attacking nearbuy building/unit issue
- Create melee units.
- Put them on stand ground
- Attack an enemy unit close to a building/unit or on a farm and shift queue move command before the enemy unit dies.
Open field issue
- Create melee units.
- Put them on stand ground
- Attack an enemy unit and shift queue move command before the enemy unit dies.
EXPECTED RESULT
Units on stand ground are supposed to do the movement as soon as the enemy unit died.
