Issue: Sometimes shift queuing actions do not work and are simply ignored with only the latest input being executed. I notice it in multiple occasions with all civs but it seems to happen more frequently with norse shift queuing actions to construct buildings (with their infantry).
Hope it gets fixed and want to thank the devs for the good work they’ve been putting in AoMR.
I am reopening this thread because the bug remains. Happens in all civs but most notably on norse. Shift queueing builders to build more than one structure and shift queueing them back to other stuff very often causes them to not build all structures as commanded, often leaving constructions left behind and not built.
Bumping because bug is still not fixed 1 year after. Happens in multiple occasions but it is especially noticeable with Hersirs shift queueing to build something and shift queueing a move commend after. The Hersirs abandon their build task to move command, disrespecting the shift queue.
As of current patch v.100.18.50572.0 (574860R) the bug is much worse after the last major japanese update. Shift click sometimes stop working with scouts and with villagers ignoring orders to build stuff, Mikos not going back to shrine after building a Temple etc.
Please, devs, I beg you: fix this bug, it has been severely hindering gameplay for more than a year now. In case this build is not yet tracked, let me know so I can provide videos.
Losing MULTIPLE games because of the shift command bug. It is happening literally every time in every game with any civ.
Send villagers with shift command to build something and return to mine and they don’t do anything.
Scouts stopping their scout because shift command was used.
Army movement not being registered because they ignored the shift command. And also they get some stuck animation when shift queueing movement commands. It’s really bad.
Please, devs, fix this bug once and for all. It is gamebreaking for anyone playing competitively.
This is the most infuriating for me right now. Do multiple shift-click scouting commands (no matter if the unit is a scout or not) and they will stop in random places, a tree, a mountain, a relic, almost everything will randomly stop them. The worse part is that units don’t fall back to idle mode, so you get no warning. I’ve missed minutes of scouting because of this bug.
It was present before the last patch, but it got way worse now.
