Issue: Shrine turns a tree invisible, screwing with building placement
Building a shrine turned regular trees into cherry trees, but one of them became invisible, allowing building foundations to be placed on top of it. However, when a villager attempted building the temple, the foundation got destroyed. I placed it again and again, until I found a spot where I can build it, and only at that point the invisible tree appeared.
Hi, I experienced this in a game with japan today (Feb 24 2026). This bug is still not resolved. I experienced an instance of this that was in fact way worse than this example. I was trying to place a watermill even far from away from any cheery blossom trees and it was still being deleted!
This bug still exists on v.100.19.12067.0 (601891R).
Another issue I have with japanese shrines is that when placing a shrine foundation, the circle that indicates which resources are within the shrineâs influence (when you select the building and want to place it) doesnt match the actual range of the shrine (after placement/construction).
I have barely missed so many goldmines that were 100% shown as within the shrineâs reach beacause of this bug. Would be nice to have the same values for pre-placement and post-placement.
