Siege of Acre - Crash after 13 minutes consistently

This error happens consistently when loading via a saved game. I will try restarting the campaign mission. No error message, just crashes to windows

This crash still persists a few months after I first noticed it. It seems to occur shortly after the Genoese ships start to land. It may also be due to the fact that I am saving the game (vs auto-saving).

After reading the last line in warnings.log it seems the issue due to a game logic bug, where it fails to load the enemy transport with units → and the game crashes. I submitted all of this to the AoE team, waiting for a reply at the moment.

This is a consistent issue, has nothing to do with how your game is saved. I figured out if you don’t build any defenses on the western side to mitigate your villagers from getting attacked by the soldiers on ships while gathering stone (fences) you will stop crashing. AOE needs fix this issue. You may have other defenses that’s causing the same issue. It has a trigger that is set for soldiers to land and go to the designated spot (stone quarry), If that gets interrupted it causes a crash.
