It is a well-known trigger trick where you can give resources to a player silently by sending a negative value from Player to Gaia. Although, if you replay a recorded game in DE, these tributes won’t be hidden any more.

:arrow_forward: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

It happens always when you replay a Custom Scenario match, where the map uses silent tributes.

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Create a new custom scenario
  2. Create a new trigger with a Tribute effect
  3. Set a resource to be sent from Player 1 to Gaia
  4. Save the scenario
  5. Start a new game with this scenario and turn Record Game on
  6. Watch the replay in the view of Player 1
  7. When the trigger fires, you will get a notification “you paid XXX Stone tribute to Gaia” (even if the resource was not Stone but Units Killed for example)

Silent tributes should be silent even if watching a recorded game. Some custom scenarios use a lot of silent tributes, which makes it very annoying to watch the replay.
