Issue:
TL;DR: Maps randomly chosen by engine are not the ones I own - greyed out ‘Start Game’ button.
I have an account without some of the older DLCs. I have just the newest one.
I like practicing against AI on a random map (new feature) and I deselected a few turtle maps, but most of the maps are in the selected list. Looks like I don’t have some of the maps purchased. This leads to an interesting effect - sometimes when I create a game with AI the ‘Start Game’ is disabled randomly (because the game engine already selected a map for me to play and it is not the one I own). I don’t know which map the game is selected (it is hidden and random), but I can change the selection by disabling ‘random map feature’ and re-enable it again. It will select a different map for me (still unknown to me) and chances are - it will be the one I actually own. This enables the ‘Start Game’ buton.
Trigger Event:
Create Skirmish Game, see the’Start Game’ greyed out.
Repro Steps:
- Buy a game without earlier DLCs
- Select all maps, deselect a couple (e.g. water maps).
- Press 'Skirmish → Create Game.
Changes are that the ‘Start Game’ button will be greyed out. If not, go to ‘Map’ tab and click couple of times on the ‘Random Map ON/OFF’ toggle.
