Only this guy and you.
Strelets and Cossacks are way out of the timeframe we are talking about here. Vityaz, yes, that could work.
I personally think the “Boyar” is a completely stupid unique unit, it is a person in the high nobility, something like a baron or a count. You would not have a few hundred of them riding together with huge axes. Vityaz just means knight, that would be more suitable.
Yes please, Slavs need a rework and Croats, Serbs and Romanians are missing.
???
I dont get it. We already have 5 +1 slav civs in game. And the civs suggested are irrelevant in the big schemes of things thorugh the sand of history. For example, ukranians and other slavic polities, like principalities and towns, are very well represented under the kievan rus (aka the current “slavs” in game). I’m sorry but I don’t see a point. Maybe it’s just your personal preference, guys, due to x reasons. Like maybe you are slavs yourselves, idk.
Strelets army existed in 1550-1682. So it totally fits the late AoE 2 period. They must not appear in campaign if it is about earlier times (which I really wish) but they are totally for Imperial period in skirmish.
Cossacks appeared in XIV-XV ct.
