So no 'New' civ in Knights of Cross and Rose?

According to the article, it sounds like the first DLC Knights of Cross and Rose only have Variant Civs (Maybe English’s variant?) instead of new ones, am I right?

I don’t think there is any campaign either.

Seems like we will get for each dlc

1-2 (variant civ)
a new game mode (maybe some co-op missions)

And that’s it…

The article says they “listened” to feedback, but if that’s the case they didn’t because people have been asking for Vikings and Aztec and other original civs.

Seems like Relic isn’t working on the game anymore, and World Edge is trying to patch some content with what they have.

I’d be surprised if we don’t get at least one new civilization, in addition to one or two variant civilizations per DLC. Just because the short summary does not go into detail doesn’t mean we won’t get it.

We have to wait for the deep dive that will come soon.

Yes I’m really hoping for the Danes as new civ.

1st Variants are most likely Crusaders / Templar
Which would probably use French models. (Templar were mostly french)

And the 2nd variant most likely English Variant (House Tudor)

No detailed info about that,

We need to wait for more details

This is not worth the money i loved age of empire for its history channel intros to the mission i like an over 10 mission campaign age of empire is worthless without campaigns

Points of interest have been added to the maps.

Five types of locations, Lost Ronin, Merchant Came, etc.

It’s a nice add-on. And there are some new maps.

It’s not a bad deal. If you like IV it’s a must-have.

Knights Templar effectively play as a unique civilization - they do not share traits, bonuses, units or upgrades, and have unique mechanics.
