i wanna quote this part of a recent italian interview to Coh3’s Developers:
"TGM: Let’s go back to talking about the gameplay for a moment. Company of Heroes 3 will have a dynamic campaign, which isn’t entirely new to the series: there’s Ardennes’s Assault, the Company of Heroes 2 experience. What did you learn from that?
TB: One of the things that emerged from our research and development was that we wanted to make the campaign map a more immersive experience, make you feel like a general looking at a map, and immerse yourself in the Italian setting. For this we have added a high level of fidelity to the campaign map [which in Ardennes Assault was much simpler visually, editor’s note].
DL: It’s been years since Ardenne’s Assault, and players today expect more when playing high-level strategy, they expect to be immersed in a world of shape, and that’s what led us to create the version of Italy. most beautiful ever seen in a strategic one. As for the gameplay … as you well know, Ardenne’s Assault was highly appreciated, both by journalists and by players, precisely because single-player experiences in strategy are much more important than you might think!
SINGLEPLAYER EXPERIENCES IN STRATEGICS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU COULD THINK
Sure, PvP is where you can find the action, if you go to YouTube collections of PvP matches, but the "THE MOST OF PLAYERS LOVE SINGLEPLAYER CONTENTS and PLAY THE CAMPAIGNS.
So, it means, as some people said one hundred times, that Singleplayers, missions and Skirmish are what the most of people wanna play and for the singleplayer mode the graphic is one of the most important thing: better graphic means better immersion.
