How is your first impressions after we got steampage screens?
We have no gameplay nor UI look, no QOL info, but we have sneakpeak how the graphics will look in the game.
It looks like a remake.
Same thing, but the Chinese are not included.
i personally hoped a bit for more than a remake but yes its more a remake it seems but a great looking one. maybe the stats/mechanics will be imrpoved aswell as maybe really new fly and naval mechanics. so its definitely more than AoE3DE. which is a really good sign IMO.
I really hope for a modern, responsive, balanced, competetive gameplay. This is my game of a childhood but without that I don’t think it will take me off from AOE4. Aoe4 takes so much from AOM gameplay that’s why I really liked new game.
It seems the game is a remaster but in a different engine very similar to what gearbox did with how world remaster, they remastered homeworld 1 in homeworld 2 engine.
Not as impressive as other definite edition. From screenshots, there isn’t any changes from the vanilla game, Chinese civ is also cut off from the beginning, make it looks more like Heroes3 HD.
