Some Blessings do not affect the Japanese in Celestial Challenge

The Japanese units are seemingly unaffected by some Blessings in Celestial Challenge.

Here I have selected the following blessings:

1. Gaia’s Lashing Roots (Hero Area damage +3): Which is lacking on both Miko, Onna-Musha (Pictured) and all other Heroes.

2. Poseidon’s Rushing Tides (Hero Speed +30%): Also lacking on both Miko, Onna-Musha (Pictured) and all other Heroes.

3. Athena’s Aegis Infantry (Infantry HP +25%): This one DOES affect the Onna-Musha (Base HP 200→250)

Curiously enough the two first mentioned Blessings do work in Arena of the Gods. But worth noting:

Miko doesn’t state that it get Area damage, but I don’t think Atlantean Hero Citizen states it either, but I think they gave the impression they had it during an enemy cast of Fimbulwinter long ago? (I’m a bit uncertain on this one)

Onna-Musha didn’t get it on their Special Attack (Naginatajutsu) despite getting it on their normal attacks in Arena of the Gods.

I played first the Celestial Challenge, then Arena of the Gods and then reconfirmed playing the Celestial Challenge again, used stated Blessings.

After thinking about it, could it be that in Celestial Challenge the Hero Units are “tagged” as Legends, but NOT Heroes that causes this (or potentially that Legends “tag” adds 1 to a Boolean value that states Hero or not)? As there are no Legends in Celestial Challenge but all Heroes function as them. That is why my suspicion stems from why it works like it should in Arena of the Gods but not in Celestial Challenge. This Oversight was avoided with all earlier Heroes, so it can probably be easily checked.

As for Naginatajutsu not working with Gaia’s Lashing Roots is probably because it is an ability, which needs to be specified (as seen in the upgrade “Golden Kite”). But since every armory, line and god-specific upgrade affects it I think it should affect it the same as this ability is effectivly more an “attack” than an “ability”. Might have to check Hera’s Righteous Wrath (with both Onna-Musha and Samurai) while at it.
