I know Quinametzin got slightly buffed but still needs help in my opinion. Also really glad that awesome jaguar riders are heroic age for Tezcat.
The throwing-rocks giant and the Owl are still bad, but the Aztecs received so many abusable things that they can win without relying on these 2 units at all.
I don’t like this civ because it relies too much on exploits or broken things that will eventually get nerfed.
I’d rather see it have a more solid identity. For example, in the future they could give the Quinametzin the stone upgrade without tying it to one god only.
maybe you are right bro. i would LOVE the giant unit (and the owl and snake) if they would be just a tiny bit better (and the owl a tiny bit different). honestly the giants throw rocks and behave as a unit like i hoped trolls for rose would do (but of course less niche and more tanky). they fixed the costs finally a bit and buffed its dmg a bit but i think at least one other buff is needed without overbuffing them ofc.
Malinalxochitl i would also call my theoretically most liked minor god but i personally think the techs focus too much on the “weak” units and don’t give enough reasonable buffs, of course the techs are not bad! but i think they cannot compete with the others especially with the rabbit-god. GP might be the most appealing think atm to do exactly what you said. Myth unit could still use a noticable buff its a freaking poisong/fire snake and rabbits got (deserved) slightly buffed and the funny tower guys (which i now like) are in my opinion the most useful classic age myth unit.
I rate the Snake Skirt Goddess higher than the Butterfly her 10% damage buff effects all units well the butterfly only effects nobile units, building regenerating and free repair are amazing.

you’re definitely right. “Snake-Earth-Goddess” is really good especially now i would rate her higher now too even i wish the GP would do more dmg at the end and her myth unit would also have an upgrade (like all myth units in the game should have (always at least 1 - up to 3 like Sphinx/Colossus as a special exception).
I might do a new tier with Snake and Scorpion lady be a tier higher.
