Sometimes villagers (and units and buildings) have no commands available when selected

Issue:

Sometimes villagers (and buildings, I’ve only noticed on a castle so far) have no commands available when selected. The lower left command section is just blank. Whether selecting a single villager or multiple, sometimes there’s just no options to build or stop or repair until they are deselected and re-selected. To fix I just have to click off of and reselect the villager.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. just play a game, not sure of the cause, but it’s not frequent, maybe once or twice every 2 or 3 games
  2. witness villager selected with no options available, until you click off of them and back on.

I will attach a screenshot if I think to take one next time this happens

No idea how to reproduce it, I believe this is a pre DE bug

643 hours of HD, and countless hours of original aoe2, and I’ve only seen it since DE. Pretty sure its a fixable DE bug.

This is a bug, in DE, that needs fixed.

1 hour 8 minutes into this game, I select 3 villagers by clicking and dragging over them, yet no command options are available.

2 minutes later it happened again when I selected 6 villagers.

Later in that same game, I selected my castle and there were no commands for upgrades or to create units. I did not get a screenshot of that though.
In every case I just deselect and re-select and the commands become available.

This bug probably happens multiple times every game for me. I’m surprised some people haven’t heard of it.

Happens for non-workers too.
