So I’m a huge nerd for the Reconquista, and absolutely enjoy AOE4 with my friends, and it always struck it me a bit odd that Spain wasn’t already in the game, so I decided to make a concept Civ for them out of some nerdiness and further research, so I wanted to share what I put together.
The Spanish
(Naval • Military • Defense • Religion)
Historically the Kingdoms of Spain were forged in the north Iberian mountains into a stronghold of harsh zeal to their culture and religion, The longer Spain is around the harder it will be to stop them. Spain utilizes heavy defense and touches on its naval and military prowess, with the fervor and loyalty of their Religion.
Spain utilizes their unique cavalry to push them across the ages as they expand their defenses. Late game Spain can expand their vast influence through prominent Military and religious efforts
