Spanish War Dogs lose health during Tycoon games, even though Explorer Dogs do not, weakening Spanish explorers compared to other Europeans

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Play a Tycoon Game as Spanish
  2. Check the Hitpoints of the War Dog you begin with.
  3. Compare to explorer dogs

War Dogs only lose hitpoints in combat.

Same for aztec scouts and every other pet as they are military units

This is intended behavior. All non-hero military units lose health. You have to be careful not to lose the war dogs to treasure guardians in this mode.

This seems like a major weakness for Spain in Tycoon, then. It also seems to make their Explorer shipment much worse. Thanks for commenting.
