Issue:
The aztec scout (or a War Hut unit) can place a spike trap foundation anywhere on the map (where you have LOS) and manually trigger the trap while its still not built. This will trigger the trap including all of its effects and refunds the cost for it. You basically get mapwide instant dmg + stun on demand. Its completly broken and certain players have already started abusing this on the ranked ladder.

Repro Steps:
- Create a spike trap with the aztec scout or a War Hut unit
- Use the manual trigger ability (default Q) on the spike trap foundation (while its still not built)

If you want to check replays, these two players have been abusing the bug.
They can still do the favor bug as well. They just cancel the animation by garrisoning. And for the traps, the retro step is basically just pressing the trigger hotkey on the foundation.

Was going to report it as they beat us within 5 minutes and asked around a discord… it is not possible to build 20 traps with no scout around within 5 minutes in the game… they built it instantly for 0 cost. Question is, do they get punished and ELO rollback? Will the players that lost to this “strat” get their score back too?

I hope this can get fixed soon, one of these abusers is close to 2.1k and others are already playing against each other…

Seems it is unnoticed yet. He should get banned and ELO reset. So far I only been gaslighted for taking it on reddit as “now more people know about it and will abuse it because of you”… Is it on me that people gonna abuse bugs? This is killing ladder right now.
