if a building is tall enough, if you scroll upward, the building will disappear at a certain point.

100% of the time

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Find an especially tall building. I used the “Minaret of Jam” in Herat from “The Fallen Amir”, the fourth scenario of the Ismail campaign.
  2. slowly scroll up.
  3. observe how it disappears while the top of the building is still in view.

buildings shouldn’t disappear when still onscreen.

It would seem to me that a building is unloaded when it’s base is a given number of tiles off the screen, but that assumes the height of a normal building, not an abnormally tall building such as the minaret of jam.

Thanks @Quasibrodo
I talked with the team about this. It’s an issue that’s been in the game since forever basically :frowning:

@Felizon89 NP. Technically a “bug” is just anything that’s un-intended…so if we think of this as a feature, it’s not a bug anymore.

Buildings that are really tall leave the screen early to free up visual space for other buildings and units you’ve scrolled to. No sense in seeing something you’ve scrolled away from just because it’s obscenely tall right?

Bada Bing Bada Boom no more bug, it’s a feature.
