I have played with all titles in AoE series and I really loved when in AoE1 and 2 every map I could edit I could save too, but in AoE3 and AoM that wasn’t possible, I hope in AoE DE it’ll be possible to save and use any map created/edited in the map editor, like in AoE1 and 2.
P.S.: another thing I’d really love to bring back is the random map creation, always in AoE1 and 2, that wasn’t possible to achieve in any way in the other titles and made me have bitter opinions about those titles.
I’m fairly sure this will be possible. After all, they’re not changing too much (mechanics wise), and they’re building on the Genie Engine
