I suggest adding a “drop resources/taxes” button to the nearest available building. This would be very useful for Villagers/Imperial Officials.
This hotkey was introduced in Age of Empires 2 a year and a half ago and players really liked it.
This will be very useful when you need to urgently age up. Or buy an important upgrade (pro-scouts and others). Especially in the early stages of the game, where you need to drop resources often, like in certain build orders. For example, when you need to create several additional scouts for Rus’ at the beginning of the game and others. Or buy the first stable, barraks, forge after a recent age up. On water maps this is useful when building fishing boats.
As one of the options, you can remove/exchange hotkey A - “attack on the move” on this hotkey. Imperial Official has no attack at all.
In fact, many suggestions and feedback of the official forum is reflected in many of the current patch changes in the curren Season, like:
1.- The End of the Siege Wars, the rework of the anti-siege siegue.
2.- The Nerf of Lancaster
3.- The bonus of Spearmans aggainst Elephants, and Cannons aggainst Elephants
4.- The changes in the mechanic of the Manor (fandom suggestions)
5.- The changes in the Weapon of many units, and the bug in the weapon design of Spearmans.
5.- The repair of many, Many, MANY Bugs the game have been have since the First Season.
6.- The Rework of the Templars Dock, now “Port”, to be fair with the other civs.
7.- Some ideas for new civs, even variant, from fandom Concepts.
– For example, many of the mechanics in Sengoku are similar to fan-created concepts for Japanese civilizations that primarily focused on the Sengoku era rather than the Heian period, making them a great fit for the variant.
Therefore, I believe the devs read our feedback.
Another thing is how many time they speend to correct the main problems with balance, which of them are “True Balance Problems” and which not, which of them requires a Complete Rework of some aspect, and which of them requires minimun changes with some stats.
About the Hotkeys, we need many news hotkeys since the DLC, speacially now that there are many, MANY new unique buildings and units:
