Suggestion: Real World maps in the next DLC

The Conquerors gave us: Britain · Byzantium · Central America · France · Iberia · Italy · Mideast · Norse Lands · Sea of Japan (East Sea) · Texas
The African Kingdoms gave us: Amazon · Bohemia · China · Earth · Horn of Africa · India · Madagascar · West Africa
Rise of the Rajas gave us: Australia · Indochina · Indonesia · Philippines · Strait of Malacca
The Last Khans Gave Us: Antarctica · Aral Sea · Black Sea · Caucasus · Siberia

In total 28 real world maps, which is a lot. It makes for great thematic games. However, there are a few other real world locations that I think would be interested:

  • Earth Settled (Still the whole world, but perhaps not a copy of the current map, a different concept, and with nomad removed. One amazing feature (if possible), players start based on their starting civ’s location)
  • Roman Empire (In essence Europe + North Africa). Like in Spirit of the Law’s Barbarian Invasions scenario except the size of the map should be much bigger.
  • Afro-Eurasia (Africa+Europe+Asia). This would be the closest thing to a world map without having to deal with water that much, since all players start on connected land.
  • Macedonian Empire (Greece + Anatolia + Middle East + India + Egypt, in essence, an expanded map of Mideast)
  • Balkans (from the Start of the Carpathians in Southern Poland to the middle of the Mediterannian under Greece; with parts of Anatolia and of Italy).
  • Africa (we only have Horn of Africa & West Africa but not the whole Africa)
  • Europe (similar to Africa, different from the Roman Empire that doesn’t include North Africa but includes more of Russia, all of UK and Scandinavia.
  • Asia (Similar, we have Mideast, China, Sea of Japan, etc; but one with them together would be great)

Nearly all of these suggestions overlap. Hard pass.

We need to have the real world maps in different sizes including Huge and Gigantic and Ludicrous sizes.

Historical maps would be nice…

Maybe they’ll save them for other dlcs…New Zealand for an Oceanic dlc with Maoris and Polynesians…South Africa for a dlc with Zimbabwe or Bantus…and North America and Canada for a dlc with Missippians and Haudenosaunee…

Please please let us make custom real world maps!

Historical maps are on of the coolest and most underrated feature of AoE3DE.
But I think the way AoE2DE map generation works makes it very hard to implement them.

They scale with player numbers, have fix predetermined buildings blocks combined with random generated areas on top of multiple triggers making it all work.

It could be similar to battle royale maps in terms of layout of buildings and events:

You make 9 historical maps from the fall of Rome to the conquest of the Aztec Empire…
