Suggestion to Balance about TR and springalds

I feel like siege units need to cost 5 population. That way if you mass up too many of them you can easily be overwhelmed by enemy cavalry or infantry (unless you sacrifice your whole eco for military which also has major drawbacks). Too much siege = opponent overwhelms you with army, less siege and springalds can actually do their job.

For TR, an hp nerf in the earlier ages or a slower build time seems fine.

I like the idea of making it so you can only build you landmarks such as barbican so close to your enemy’s tc

PUP is live in less than 24hrs so we’ll see the direction the devs take it.

What do you dont understand? Its a strategy where player invest lot to do very specific thing and if that specific thing fails that player puts themselves so far behind that they cant come back and looses because of it which TR is. Its a high risk strategy and if opponent defends it without taking considerable amount of dmg so defender is ahead so much that defender has to throw the match to opponent comeback and win a game.

Dude. What are you on? Because something sucks it doesn’t mean it cant be used here and there. Clearly you have no idea strategies in RTS and overall esports. I give you example now. In GSL for few years, we have seen terran (race in SC) to use hellbat pushes against zerg and the successrate of that was closer to 0% in pro level. Yet time after time pro players used it and now first time in few years it actually worked and did enough dmg to opponent to justify this strategy. Does it still make strategy good? No it doesn’t. It still sucks, but it all depends how defender reacts and what he does. If they do a mistake then the strategy can work even if its bad strategy or if aggressor manage to hide and defender is caught offguard.

Same thing with TR. If player scouts it and acts accordingly what will it achieve? NOTHING.

Which I used but I selected only platinum which was my bad. Even with +plat its still 128 games and how many games are played in total? As of writing this its over 1.2k. SEEMS very insane strategy that majority of chinese are doing it and yet they got ONLY 47.8% winrate which is 2nd worst winrate from all civs.

If BBQ rush was so OP we would see chinese winrate on positive side in overall timings but we don’t because its not good and reliable strategy to pull off especially in pro scene. Which you clearly dont understand.

When did I say its difficult to deal with? No where. Its very simple and easy thing to do. Fast castle or Archery range and stop new towers coming up. Low elo players can only blame themselves if they don’t want to act accordingly. It would be same as spamming spears and opponent going MAA and player losses because they only do spears. Essentially this is what you’re saying now.

I watched your HRE game in High view and I can right of the bat tell you after watching 5mins that your opponent didnt act properly at all even before finishing this.

-He lost 1 villager to barbican that he could’ve saved.
-He didnt build wall between both tree lines to stop your first tower

2 crucial mistakes within 5mins of gameplay. So yes very god tier gameplay

-3rd mistake goes to barracks. Even when he is playing HRE he should’ve gone to archer range and kill your villagers / stop them building towers
-Also before 6min mark I realized that HRE has 19 workers + 2 prelates and 2 scouts (-1 starting prelate -1 dead worker) this mean he has missed making workers which is extremely crucial early on. At 6min 22seconds he should have 25 workers or prelates. So he is missing 2 workers which is 40 seconds of idle for TC.

So this is now 4 mistakes around 6min mark.

-7.30mins of gameplay he goes to kill your tower with MAA and villagers. Why? If he had gone for archer range he would’ve already stopped you building 2 towers and killed your workers and not lost single second on mining time

5 mistakes now.

-At 8min mark he starts taking your stone upgraded outpost down and pulls villagers to wood and gets 4 or 5 villagers killed FOR NO REASON

6 mistakes now

-9 min mark he pulls again villagers and MAA to kill your stone upgraded outpost and losses more villagers for no reason

7 mistakes now

-10min mark he pulls all his MAA to attack barbican for what reason?!?!?!?! U had NOTHING back in base. Your opponent needed to walk across the map with MAA and kill your workers / force you to evacuate your workers to TC and stop you getting resources and he would’ve won but he freaking chose to attack barbican and loose MAA while you do stone wall towers behind barbican. Plus you’re not doing good job targeting with your BBQ or towers. You could’ve killed his prelates multiple times over now but you dont do it.

-Finally you killed his prelates and this dude just runs his MAA to stone wall tower and losses few of them for no reason.

Im not gonna watch anymore this because its clear as day that this is low elo gameplay and very unskilled opponent is losing game because of poor decision making and he does all the wrong things. He could’ve done so many things differently and won the game around 10min mark. Seems like the ranked quality is super low if this type of play happens in platinum.

You also forgot gateway change. Soon its barbican + gateway rush to opponents base. But meh joke patch notes
