Hello everyone, I never post on this forum, but I regularly check it. And I think being a developer must not be easy every day. I see a lot of messages where people confuse publisher and developer and forget that before being a documentary about history, this is a video game, and gameplay should come first.
Like many others, I am a bit disappointed with the content of the next DLC, but we must not forget the very small team still working on the game. Personally, I think that variants are the best compromise the developers can offer us, and the ideas presented for the next two variants are excellent. I prefer that the team works on original gameplay mechanics rather than having to redo an entire architectural and modeling workload. Once again, the team is small, and choices have to be made.
This does not mean that we should not give feedback, but there is a way to do it. Too many orders are given, too many contradictory requests, and sometimes even unrealistic expectations. I’ll take this opportunity to make one:
Dear developers, for better quality of life, would it be possible for the use of a control group to center the camera on the most important group of soldiers rather than on the closest soldier (as StarCraft 2 does)?
Thank you for the work you have provided over the years. This game improves with every patch, and it is always a pleasure to spend time on it.
(My English is terrible, I’m using a translator, sorry if some sentences don’t make sense.)
