Actually, the only keyboard support by the game are qwerty.
When we use the french keyboard for example (AZERTY) every key are not logical as on the qwerty keyboard.
You can change this in the options of the game (swapping keys like A and Q…) or with this tool: https://aokhotkeys.appspot.com/
In this last link, you can already find azerty layouts in the popular presets (maybe not for DE, to check).
