On survival there are not natural resources, just starting crates and 1 shipment. Not even explorers (essential for non europeans).
Said that, there are maps created by modders (pretty sure @ZeledonX and @dansil92 among others)
There is one map where there are random bonuses but I can not find it, help. I thought it was survival randomland but no, it just changes the terrain.
As side note: it would be interesting if natives get the tribal market BB after aging up or something since there are no mines idk.
It would be more interesting if natives just didn’t have the Tribal Market.
Yep, of course it would, but there are not more patches sadly.
There are two maps in the Survival Maps Collection that feature bonuses: Survival Randomland (with Trade Routes and Native Villages) and Survival Classic (without Trade Routes or Native Villages). To activate these bonuses, you must set the AI difficulty to Easy in the game setup screen, where players configure game settings and select maps—this is the necessary condition for the bonuses to take effect.

You’re looking for the unknown improved mod. Survival Settler Massacre map. You get different stuff if you set the lobby settings to nomad and/or easy AI difficulty.

Thanks Zeledon, but Is it displayed somewhere?
I mean, I had to ask here to find out. This doesnt appear in map selection or mod map description. It would be awesome to have it written somewhere for newcomers to the mod
I added a note in the mod description about these maps and how to activate the bonuses, but it seems that when I changed the description, an error occurred. Now the mod description appears disorganized and incomplete, and at the moment, it doesn’t allow me to edit it.

When you copied my map, why didn’t you just leave it in the map description?
This is why I recommend you just use the original work.

I believe there may be a misunderstanding. I am not referring to the RMS files (.xs and .xml), but rather to the mod creation page—the interface where the mod title, game, description, tags, change list, etc., are configured.
The maps were added some time ago, and I continued editing and adding new maps without issues. However, when I tried to update the general description of the mod (which has a 10,000-character limit), the field only displayed three dots (...
), as if loading, but it never updated or allowed me to type.
After making the change, unexpected characters like "NEUTRAL":""
and \r\n
appeared. When I attempted to edit again, I received an error message: “There has been an error in processing your mod. Please review the information and try again.”
Since then, I have been unable to make any changes to the mod. I contacted support and followed their recommended solutions, including clearing cache and cookies, using incognito mode, switching browsers, and testing on a different device, but unfortunately, the issue persists.
For now, I am waiting to see if a solution is provided before considering deleting and recreating the mod.
Sadly there’s no support for this game. Only some third party scripted messages. Nothing gets resolved.

Another problem is not being able to rescue the hero, the only civs that can are the Asian ones.
War Thiefs Civ are completely dependent on the hero and do not have access to them. Malta is also another civ that cannot access the hero due to the map and loses its main artillery in addition to the deposits.

If it is a balance concern to get them in age I, maybe natives should get them when aging to II or III.
They have enough disadvantage by no getting factories and having worse plantations
TWC civs last I checked were some of the strongest on survival.
Also not sure how asians get their hero as someone else claimed.
They can be trained from TC by paying gold as usual, like when they are defeated.
Meanwhile, dancing on plaza hasnt got any effect.

Weird that it works for TAD but not euro civs. Never knew that.
Inca was pretty decent imo, same with Lakota. I actually think Mexico, Otto, Portugal and the US and Dutch are all probably better though.
So they’re in the top quarter of the civs… and surely better than some of those on standard settings.

Probably. Otto and Mexico are both kinda insane on default settings. Lakota’s team 6 bison is insanely good in a team game. Portuguese and Dutch are really good if you do a 1k every res start or do any treaty. Both are fine in a regular game too though.
With Inca I actually like Bolas spamming with some Chimus or the siege infantry. If it’s a team game and you have someone to deal damage the snaring bolas mass seems decent on the wide open map. Jungle bows can also work sometimes, but you only get so much wood from the plaza.
