Stop touching the game! Every time you introduce some new stupid quality of life feature you break the game. Stop. Just stop messing up pathing. Stop making it so the muscle memory I had last patch makes it so the boar dies this patch.
Don’t , stop changing things, take the dumb mule carts back, take the broken new op civs back. I don’t want more content like that. Stop.
TC isn’t shooting boar for me. Just tested it here. The game will keep changing. So, you might as well accept that, or play the classic version of the game.

It’s a mod to make Dark Age food collection easier for people without object permanence.

Yep
that’s it, you garrison the luring vil and it fires another arrow randomly.
Also had it happen while luring a boar and just garrisoning vils to move them to stragglers on the other side of the tc.
