There are very few examples of TEAM cards that allow the sharing of unique units. When they do exist, they’re combat units. This is important because one of the key differentiators between the civs is their economic models. The architect is a key part of making Italy work because it has such a slow start and is so dependent on its archaics. There is already a TEAM Lombards card which compromises Italy’s uniqueness. I don’t think there should be a second TEAM card to give away the Architect to civs which are not balanced around 0 wood cost buildings.
Imagine for example, a 4v4 team game. Italy uses a FF, drops the free architects. All team members get 2 free architects which they then use to build their estates which otherwise cost 600w each. That’s a huge amount of wood that can now be redirected either to units or more importantly to teching up. It’d be way too strong.
I would also add italy has a solid number of decent team cards and a lot of really bad solo cards
Any kind of TEAM Architechs is is easy NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO for me.
Very reasonable points.
