:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

 DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.

The on-screen objectives during campaigns seem to conflict with the tech tree preview’s mouse-over tooltips. In particular it seems to affect the techs that appear over or near the objectives.

When mousing over one of the broken techs (while avoiding mousing over other techs) no tooltip will appear.
Or, when mousing over one of the broken techs (by moving the mouse along other techs) a tooltip for the last working tech will display instead.

This doesn’t happen during skirmish or multiplayer.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Launch AoE2 through Steam (no mods)
  2. Start Jadwiga 5, Vytautas’ Crusade (or any campaign with on-screen objectives)
  3. View the tech tree preview and mouse-over Chemistry or Arson

 What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?

Tech tooltips should show up for all techs in the tech tree preview even with on-screen objectives.

 ALWAYS attach a PICTURE (.jpg, .png, .gif) or VIDEO (.mp4, YouTube link) that highlights the problem.

Jadwiga 5 - Chemistry highlighted but the tooltip is for Elephant Archers (Thumb Ring, Parthian Tactics, and Ballistics also didn’t work).

Skirmish - Chemistry highlighted and the Chemistry tooltip showing.
