Many changes happened in the last update. And I forgot to thank them for how much they improved the pikemen; it’s become much more dynamic.
I only play as Rus and usually in 4v4 matches. So before, the game was all about cavalry, with mixed Rus cavalry, horse archers, priests, scouts, and knights… and some artillery and siege weapons.
And the town center was expensive to build. Infantry in the Imperial Era was practically useless. And the library updates gave the cavalry a higher percentage of boosts. Anyway… it was a cavalry game, focused on a single town center, many cavalry fighting and making quick and deadly strikes in the eco… and of course we can’t forget how Sengoku won matches just by producing a single unit, anyway… it was very irritating to play like that and frustrating to play with players who didn’t understand cavalry duels.
But now… well… I do 2 TCs more easily. And… it’s been a long time since I fought with pikemen in the Imperial phase, I’ve gone back to doing more infantry. The game has become less aggressive. Of course, the professional players reading this are hating on the new updates… but… what can I say? I’m a noob and I loved it. Thank you for making the game more fun.
