Objectively speaking, it makes no sense to speak of the Middle Ages outside the European context. Because the definition of the Middle Ages originated with the Italian humanists in the 14th century to refer to the whole period when classical culture had been forgotten. So roughly: 400-1500 AD. Whether you like it or not, it is the basis on which the videgame was built.
In this context, therefore, it makes no sense to include the 3 Kingdoms in the base game, because they make two mistakes:
- do not show the rest of the world (outside Europe) during the historical period mentioned;
- show neither how the Middle Ages began nor why they ended.
I don’t want to dwell too much on this, so rather: post.
5-10 seems excessive to me, having 3 of them done well instead of these 3 that have raised so much controversy already seems like a huge step forward.
On Steam it is received even worse
