The player number are slightly below AoE4 again but they are on a way higher level then they were a month ago and there is no real downward trend.
It actually looks like the numbers are stabilizing on almost 3x the player base then before the update.
Pretty crazy.
I wonder how many of those are Free to Play players, who many are people that just got the game and how many are returning players.
