The Greeks, who had "Greek Fire," don't get fire ships?

I realize civ balance and all, but still…

Greek fire must be re named as Byzantine fire.

Well Byzantines didn’t exist until the fall of Rome, so no.

Question is rather what the Fireship is based off, as Byzantinian Empire didn’t exist before.

They get fire ships just before I sink them

Well agree on historical sense, and in the name. Would be a cool add-on and was thinking the same a couple of days ago. The Greeks are too Academy centered IMO, which makes them a weak civ.
As an extra water bonus I would also like to see getting them fire-ships. However, with the 25% speed bonus on their ships already, it would make them an OP water-civ when they would have 25% faster fire ships.

But the same can be said about the Romans, who have ‘monotheism’ upgrade, which I think, makes their team too OP. In a broader historical sense it would be correct, since Roman Catholic Church and all, but that’s also since around 300ad. So…
