I really don’t get how small trees mod is a downgrade I play the game not to watch it and take in every bit of graphical amazement I actually play the game to play the game.for me and most others small trees mod enhances the game. If I wanted to play the game to enjoy graphics there’s far better games for this purpose. Pretty illogical argument there

Well, that’s one of the intended uses of mods… All visual mods are allowable in the game. So, stop with your cult like beliefs and accept the fact that mods are integral part of game. Your beliefs simply imply that mod users are cheaters. If you cant wrap your head around the idea that people just dont play the game for its aesthetics then you will start to see the need for mods.

If other players want to make their maps look terrible by using mods, as long as it does not enable them to cheat, that’s their problem.

I know it might seem like your work is being disregarded, but if people enjoy your map even with their graphic mods on, isn’t that still a good thing? does them using mods really matter if they have fun anyway?
And again, you can always politely ask people to disable their mods (do not phrase it as an order but as a strong suggestion, people will listen more that way) and they’ll probably do it (or will just not play your map, which seems is what you want, to people who use mods to not play them)
Conclusion of this thread? IcarusDuCer and very few others like his idea. And those who dont like the idea, will get a rant from IcarusDuCer. Not sure why people still continu to spam this thread with their opinion. The outcome of this thread is pretty clear to me and the current discussion isnt fruitfull at all anymore.
I would suggest ignoring this thread if you dont have to say any thing new to this thread. Personal attacks can be done in private message or something like that. Dont annoy other members of the forum with your frustration. If you dont like someones attitude, just flag these posts, so the moderators will have a look at these post and take appropriate measures.
