The Lunar New Year Event is happening now! (Age of Empires 2)

In addition to the second major update to Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, we’ve also added unlockable content as part of our in-game Lunar New Year Event!

NOW through February 4th, you’ll be able to unlock profile icons and temporary in-game changes by completing challenges as part of the celebration!

Here’s what you can get your hands on:

  • New profile icons!
  • The ‘Mandarin Bushes’ mod, which changes all foraging bushes to mandarin bushes
  • The “TC Decorations” mod which decorates all town centers with red lanterns and other festive items
  • The “Fireworks” mod which will add explosive fun to your game

To learn more about the game update and the Lunar New Year Event, check our newest Release Notes! The Lunar New Year content will disappear on February 4th, so get moving or miss out!
