In a 4v4, two of my idiot teammates resign. I should absolutely not be expected to continue in that game 4v2. It’s reasonable to assume it’s basically over from that point and yet if you resign, you get a early resign penalty.
The game randomly freezes up and while I’m still in the lobby, I can’t actually click or do anything. So I have to task manager out. I get another penalty.
The language filter is temperamental and shouldn’t really exist in the first place (it should at least have an off button).
Griefing when you’re the final player on a team by creating dozens of villagers and fishing ships, and hiding them around the map, should absolutely be a punishable offense. But they do fuck all about that as well.
I’ve even literally reported people for abuse and I’ve gotten a message saying they did fuck all about it. What the fuck are they doing? They’re happy to take the moral high ground on swearing (but only in some circumstances) but give little fuck about toxic players ruining the game.
These are issues that were plaguing this game years and years ago. What the fuck are the mods doing that they can’t resolve basic shit like this? They’re happy to keep churning out new civs to get our money, but some of the most easily fixed problems they just ignore.
