No man, they have nothing special for their identity as a cav civ, they are not cheaper, they are not faster, they are not stronger, their stables donāt work faster and their UU is useless
Persians are already one of the strongest civs in the game, even before DE buffs. Granted, they were not the best in 1v1 before DE. (I still donāt know if they good 1v1) A horde of War Elephants kills nearly everything in team games. Persians are meant to boom like crazy and get lots farms and trade carts on a map like black forest/michi or others. When a Persian Player fully booms, they become monsters.
Your near full stables. Full Scout Line, Full Knights, And Full Camel. Your town centers work faster. Allowing to get villagers out faster. Plus they kind of jack of all trades in terms of technology.

Not literally. You said nothing without specifying if you meant it metaphorically. You said nothing at all and I proved you wrong 2 times (3 if you count elephants). Also, you asked us to find something soā¦
If I would be really to think ill of you (excuse if my english isnāt the best) I would dare to accuse you of perfectly know those 3 things that I pointed out, but to purposely leave them out to further strengthen you message of them not having anything for their cavalryā¦
But of course Iām sure that it was just an innocent mistake, and I was happy to help you out in finding the truth.

Being ALL FU is enough of a bonus for Cavalry. Cavalry is the most aggressive unit type in the game, so having all options good in the Imperial Age, is plenty enough of a Cavalry identity.
Not to mention that Persians can actually purchase all those upgrades, thanks to their stellar Economy, while other civs cannot, and need bonii to compensate.
Persians are the only civ in the game to have all stable units and have all upgrades for them. Itās technically not the case anymore because now there are battle elephants and steppe lancers, but the Persian have the OG elephant as their UU and who cares about SL anyway.
Also DE gave them trashbows which are the best thing to combo with cavalry. Other civs might have to resort to champ or hand cannons to counter halbs (but those ressources conflict with cavalry) or would use skirms (but they are weak units in general), but not Persian. At the cost of lowering that huge pile of wood that will inevitably clogger your ressources bank, Persian can make a unit that counters halbs without hindering cavalry production nor being too weak.
Another argument lies with their tech tree. Just look at it (Age of Empires II Tech Tree)
Look how their cavalry has all upgrades, while their barracks, archery range, siege workshop and even monastery lack tons of options. If that doesnāt look like a civ that will favour cavalry I donāt knwo what it is.
And last but not least, their TB is a cav bonus too.

Yeah my friend they have good work rate bonus but they lack the special things about their identity as a cav civ, their cavs/stables are completely generic nothing special

you will not use all stables unit at the same time are you? they have nothing special/unique/feature for their cavs/scouts/camels
But you have all options, in 1v1 you get complete cavalier with extra attack vs archers and in teamgames the Paladin, for trash fights then complete hussar, and vs cavalry you get heavy camel.

+2 attack is useless vs Archers. Persians still suck vs Arbalest+Halb or similar comps

Man why you donāt get my main point? as a cav civ, they donāt have anything special for their cavs/scouts as a cav civ they should have something, when you compare them to Berbers, i and even anyone of course will prefer Berbers even if they donāt have Paladin
At least come up with a historic buff to them? I dunno, what exactly the Persians were famous for.
Maybe make their infantry dirt cheap so we could have scenes like the 300 movie so they could have massive armies of awful, but cheap infantry. No armour upgrades.
Everyone gets your point, but it is just not valid.

Archers, Persians were famous for Archers, and already have Trashbows.
Very out of the timeframe, back to the Achaemenid Persia which is covered in AOE 1 and here they have complete Legions.
