@PCDragon3979 In the first and the last scenarios, the enemies are OP, attacking my base too aggressively and sometimes together. In the first one, this forces me to almost deplete the resources within the walls just to defend myself, which is aggravated by the relatively small pop cap, and limits me from training a fair amount of elephant units. In the last one, the aggressiveness of my enemies keeps me from counterattacking them and destroying their wonders.
I have prolonged the attack frequencies of the enemies, hope this helps.
@PCDragon3979 Thanks (sorry for the late reply), since the fix you applied, that scenario is more pleasing to play in Standard level.
However, since one of the latest game patches, now the 2nd scenario is too hard to play. The enemy attacks me early with a very expensive, numerous and hard to counter elephant+champion+arbalester+treb army, much earlier than I can gather enough resources and train an effective defensive army. Walling my base in and building castles and towers is to no avail, since the elephants and trebuchets quickly raze my defenses.
@PCDragon3979 Hi, did you see my latest reply?
Hi, I haven’t been playing AoE2 that often anymore, because of a huge project at work, apologies for the delay. I have already fixed the AI already, by scaling the number of units to start with smaller attacks with smaller numbers in the beginning. Let me know if you require more patches. I will also track my other campaigns and get back to you. I just got back to the game, and I will also be making major changes to my existing ones to reflect on the Viking Sagas updates.
