They should,as people paid for that civi.Unless there is going to be situation like dodt dlc where 2 new civis along with an older one gets a connected campaign.Issue would be the player will have to own both dlcs to play this.
It seems someone in the dev team is taking the wrong inspirations from Chronicles. From the icons, the UI to just 1 scenario for a new civ. If the limit is 15 scenarios, telling one big story with 4 civs is not a good decision imho.
Varangian Guard right now hits a spot that if you out micro your opponent you will notice some gold rolling in, but if you micro badly your gold tanks fast. It’s the first time I’ve noticed gold generation on attack being a viable part of your strategy, and it’s very fun. Winning fights can snowball you ahead, but losing units can tank your economy even when you win. Varangian VG’s are amazingly well balanced right now, so I’d be very careful about changing them.
Hopefully I can test Danes tomorrow. Can give feedback on Dane VG’s and Jomsvikings.
Just like Manipur Cavalry vs Farimba. At least the weaker one can be researched in Castle Age in both cases and also cheaper.
Oh, right.
Well if we’re doing it like that, AoE1 Romans had something like 16 scenarios in the original version (15 in DE, one scenario was changed to Palmyrans), and then also got 5 more with Trajan in RoR.
EDIT: The Greeks in AoM also get cca 20 scenarios or so.
So the franchise record holder remains unchallenged.
So, we can simply say that Vikings have a campaign, but Saxons still need one.
I agree. But I think there is a lot of potential for a full Saxon campaign in the future. Maybe conquest of Briton by the Saxons after the fall of the Roman Empire could be a good setting.
Вранье с самой началы компании ( о том , что всю Русь завоевали), а так - весело ![]()

Is there any working stat website? All websites I followed for stats are long gone.
After playing Danes a few times I’ve made up my mind. Danes are fine. If Danes need any kind of nerf, Huns have been mega broken all this time. I’m not into siege so not my favorite civ, and I think it might struggle against cavalry archer comps.
Good to see SOTL answered my question. 11
I am honestly surprised at the performance of Saxons and Danes. Varangians is not surprising because having some 150 gold in Dark Age as your only eco bonus doesn’t cut these days at all. But other 2 have Food bonuses that last throughout the whole game. Why they are so bad at stat? Any idea?
