Just as a check, this is the first time for me the game has stopped during load and produced the popup with the update message. Normally the Store installs these updates outside of the game without issue
Having looked around the file system all game and DLC files are dated when the update took place so not a case of backing out just one file
I have the same problem.
I have all the DLCs downloaded, but they donāt appear in the game.
And it seems like itās not just happening with Age of Empires.
Right. I checked and tested with Halo 4 dlc from master chief collection on pc, same issue.
I Uninstalled and reinstalled it, and now halo 4 It wonāt appear in app installed addons.
But I can access to play halo 4 campaign, just it wonāt appear as installed in windows 11.
I donāt know if this is a global issue for all Microsoft Xbox game users on pc,
because I would like to have the extra-lucid vision, but I canāt.
Actually, It is sure thatās affect some users.
We can use a hard solution by reinstall operating system,
But we have other things to do rather reinstall everything at each little issue encountered.
And we cannot be sure if it will work after did it.
DLCs ive had installed for while such as Chronicles of Greece and the Three Kingdoms work but tried to install and play Victors and Vanquished tonight and wont recognise I have it installed. Bit of a farce really.
I had all the expansions installed, except for the Three Kingdoms, then I bought it, and after installed the icon of a arrow kept showing up, I tried to reinstall the game and the expansions and the same thing happen to all the other expansions, so now I donāt have a single one to play, how the hell microsoft did nothing to this yet? Anyone here tried the support?
I tried AoE support and they sent me off to Microsoft general support
From previous M$ support they would insist on reinstalling everything losing all my settings so I declined
From posts here, a full AoE install from scratch doesnāt help so itās a waiting game
