DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.
When I enter the game, there is a “continue” option in the game menu, which shows I can continue a game that I played a long time ago, however in fact I have deleted this save and now I don’t have any save file. When I click to continue, I can’t load into any scene at all.
Then, the system prompts me:
Scenario: XX3. AGE3YSAV Failed to load. The scenario file could not be opened-it may not exist, or the game does nor have permission to open the file.
How often does the issue occur? CHOSE ONE; DELETE THE REST!
- 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)
List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!
Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
- save a game
- delete the save file
- exit the game
- over a period of time, enter the game
- this bug will appear
（the appearance of this bug maybe connect with Internet or steam cloud but I am not sure)
What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
I think if there is no bug, when I enter the game, the first option of game menu shoule be not “continue” . It should be NEW.
ALWAYS attach a PICTURE (.jpg, .png, .gif) or VIDEO (.mp4, YouTube link) that highlights the problem.
Attach a SAVE GAME (.aoe3Ysav) or GAME RECORDING (.aoe3Yrec) of the match where you encountered the issue. Link it below if using an external file service.
I don’t have any save file. This is BUG I want to report.
