This forum should allow us to know reliably the ELO rate of the user

in order to know the knowdledge and skill.
this is important to see if a elo 1000 is talking about units or a 1800, a 1800 one is more experienced.

What’s the cut-off point where an opinion becomes valid?

Elo shouldn’t matter, every opinion is as valid as another. Showing someones Elo will automaticlly alter peoples perspective of a given topic and maybe even worse, hinder people from sharing their opinion, because they don’t want their Elo to be known.

I’m against this.

Edit: It would also open the door for a new type of harassment.

Which ever the OP has usually

Or as lobbies go:

“everything above me is pro / cheating, everyone below me is a noob”

Pff… I’m not saying anything

its not comparing, is just that beginners dont know the game, i can talk about a unit that is weak but i can not know his strenght.

what give results i guess. There is no cut-off point, is just seeing who talks.

mmm ok, but then all topics can be discared for balance purposes, at least for me, unless there is a recording etc and no other solution than nerfing something
