I’ve accidentally posted in the AoM threads before, thinking it was AoE2. Maybe 2 or 3 times. I think I know why now. When viewing thread lists, it doesn’t show that the threads are in AoM, specifically. They just say, “Discussion”, while other games show the game they pertain to, like:
- II - Discussion
- IV - Discussion
- III - Discussion
For AoM, I’d expect it to say “AoM - Discussion”:
Plus, when I’m viewing AoE2 threads and then see a topic at the bottom of the page I want to reply to, my brain is locked into AoE2 mode and assume the threads showing to me are AoE2 ones unless it’s specifically stated otherwise. In the case of AoM threads, they are not stated otherwise. They, again, just say, “Discussion”:
