I’m curious to know how the civ changed, are papal units really make the difference now?

Papal Lancers with the charged attack are a big deal. They are more mass-able in age 3 and pair nicely with Musketeers.

Probably not op, but kinda new and fresh. We didn’t get too much to refresh the meta, but I’ll take what I can get.

It resembles a bit the initial strategy of Italy, when it heavily relied on lancer shipment, as they took only 40 secs.

I won’t how this will affect Italy build orders and deck, will it still heavy on a semi FF into lombards and then advanced arsenal?

It is hilarious that you have to mention and attack treaty players everytime a post is made. If you dont care about treaty why mention it?
You are essentially doing exacly what those haters from other games of the series do. The difference is that you spread hate within the aoe3 community, not the whole age series.

It is because treaty players are irritating in the first place. You treaty players spam everywhere as if every thread is talking about treaty, assuming every balance changes are for treaty, and complain that the balance is not good for your niche game mode. In reality treaty players are like 0.1% of players

  1. The way you talk is actually pulling attention to treaty
  2. Discussing about balance is a natural reaction to new patches, why would discussing treaty balance be an exception?
  3. Do treaty players really hurt you that much by just talking about balance? Have they become some kind of imaginary enemy to you?
  4. If there are so few treaty players as you stated, then you wont even hear any of their voices, just like Empire Wars.

My guess is his point is “some treaty players are jerks”, that’s true btw, and therefore all treaty players are bad.

At this point i dont think ranked is the basis of enjoyment anymore. But thats just my opinion.
