What exactly is the Timeline in which the cove of AoE4 exist ? For AoE2 , they took the Timeline as around the Fall of Rome to end of the Imjin War(~1590) while AoE3 picks up about the time when AoE2 left of and goes up to the around the Sepoy Mutiny (~1850)
Obviously, AoE4 is in the Middle ages but exactly when ? Is it the same as AoE2 or is it more restricted ?

just wanted to add a small correction, aoe3 timeline is from ~1400-1900, with henry the navigator dying shortly after the fall of Constantinople and going past the American civil war with the addition of Alaskan/Hawaiian territories and the “hole in the wall” gang.
